Visit of Minister Kamp of Dutch Economic affairs and Ineke Dezentjé Hamming (chairman FME) to Airborne.
As part of the initiative to stimulate the innovation potential of SMEs in the Netherlands and the forthcoming paper concerning an additional stimulus funds, Minister Kamp and Ineke Dezentjé Hamming visited Airbornes headquarters in Ypenburg, The Netherlands.
In addition to the usual company presentation, Airborne announced a new initiative concerning the launch of a new unit. This unit will focus entirely on developing fully integrated automation solutions for the composite industry and will be realised in collaboration with Siemens. Minister Kamp said about this visit: “It is inspiring to see how Airborne, with the occasional government support from time to time, has realised an impressive growth in recent years. SUch an innovative and courageous attitude has enabled Airborne to continue to grow even in economically difficult times. These are the SMEs that we need in the Netherlands to be able to meet international competition and secure employment and prosperity in the future.”
