At the 28th and 29th of March, Airborne will be attending the Paris Space Week 2018. At this 4th edition our Business Development Manager Sandor Woldendorp will present our latest developments on the engineering and manufacturing of composite panels for satellites.

Woldendorp: “Through industrialization, digitalized automation and applying different production process technologies, we are making spacecraft components more affordable for our clients. This has made Airborne market leader in the manufacturing of solar-array substrate panels in Europe. At this fair we are looking forward to showing our innovations.”

Highlights at Space Week

Airborne has been part of many satellites such as Sentinel 1 and 2, EarthCare, Galileo FOC, EDRS- C and Astrobus. Our company is currently working on some 50 more satellite panels, including Jason-CS / Sentinel 6, JUICE and MetOp-SG. To this date Airborne has delivered more than 200 sandwich panels for satellites. The contribution to innovative space programs and its present activities at the forefront of new space, are some of the issues Airborne will highlight at the Paris Space Week.

Airborne is also looking forward to meeting players who want to team up; to automate, digitize and create the future of composites together.
