Automating the production of composites

Our automated solutions are efficient, easy to use and fully digital. We put all our composite manufacturing know-how into the design of the systems and into the software, to deliver you an automated process that is reliable and fast, with the right quality. We offer a portfolio of standard solutions and can also develop a dedicated industrial manufacturing system for you, in which we integrate third-party equipment into one fully automated system.

Our objective…

… is to make automated composite manufacturing affordable and straightforward to use. So that you can concentrate on creating the right product for your market and don’t need to worry about understanding, testing and improving the automated systems and processes.

We use…

… a building block approach, in which we can combine the automated manufacturing systems that we already have into the right configuration to build a fully integrated manufacturing line, where needed with third-party equipment.

Falcon line: A High Volume Line for Thermoplastic Composite Manufacturing

The Falcon line is a first-generation breakthrough technology for mass production, converting thermoplastic composite tapes into lightweight laminates at high speed. Thus meeting immediate needs in the consumer electronics industry.

The Falcon line is an example of a high volume end-to-end automated solution and is located at our headquarters in Den Haag. The fully integrated system not only proves our capability to produce well over 1 million parts per year, it can also be used for prototyping and serial production if you are not ready to invest in your own manufacturing line. Thermoplastic UD tapes are processed into laminates within 15 sec cycle time, with the option to add core material or surface finish material. In this video we explain how it works.
